When Daern asked if the babe was to be taught in the Vale Lena felt her jaw tighten for just a moment in discomfort. "Torin insists the babe raised in Casterly Rock, It is not my desire to see the child separated from me, but I have no choice in the matter." Surly the young maester would understand, it would be either the Vale or the Baby, and Lena couldn't abandon the Vale even for her own child. In the privacy of her chambers before Torin retired to bed she wept at the idea of loosing her child but she put on a strong face in front of others.
The ceremony was beginning and Lena made her way to her way to the front of the room, catching Torin's eye and nodding him onward towards her. This was Luthor's third and undoubtedly largest wedding, his first wedding had been something traditional, the second had been quick and short and this one would be done right. Though Torin and his new 'advisor' planned to see the seven gone from the Eyrie today a Scepton would preform the wedding. Lena wasn't sure what a wedding for the red god would look like but she was certain it wouldn't appease the guests gathered here today, they had a way of doing things for as long as any of them could remember and they liked the way they did things.
Once they were standing side by side Lena leaned close to Torin. "Perhaps this one will settle Luthor down." She said her voice tight, just above a whisper. If Lena's father had been more proactive about her engagement she might have been the bride to settle Luthor down, she certainly wouldn't have put up with some of his more exotic fantasies, and he'd have had strong sons by now, but that was a future long gone. Lena was married to Torin now and Luthor was marrying Ana. Lena would give Torin strong sons and their union was much celebrated.
