"I can't say much for my Lady Halaevia's taste in clothing, but, considering what little I have with me, I guess I can't be too choosy." Larynne frowned with a sigh as she held up another dress from the huge pile that Alenia and two other servants brought to her. "Did you give my measurements to the Maester tailor, Alenia?" She looked at her personal servant, her expression void of any indication of the sensual bath and sleep they had only a couple hours ago.
"Yes, Milady. And, he said some of your clothing will be ready on the morrow, though the rest, more delicate items will be near week's end. He stopped work on the repairs to a visiting Lord's doublet and clothing. I can't recall his name." She shrugged and took away the dress Larynne handed her. "I gave him a full list of what you needed. Nearly all you left back in Storm' End."
"I guess I can suffer through wearing Halaevia's evening gown tonight, but, I'll need it taken in a little. She's become a bit...hippy since I last saw her." Larynne mused out loud. "At any rate, go and inform them that I'll be on my way down to dinner as soon as I get that dress altered." She looked at one of the other servants, who gave a curt nod and left the chambers.
"This'll give you enough to wear until yours are finished, Milady. Oh, I also told him to make you a new set of riding clothing. Cloak, tight fitting trousers that you like to show your legs off with." Alenia flashed an impish smile in her direction while piling up the clothes Larynne had already gone through and not wanted. "A couple of tunics with the blousy sleeves and and new belt to compliment it all with a sheath for your dirk." She smiled again. "I hadn't forgotten that detail Milady."
"What would I do without you, Alenia? You're the most efficient servant with the details I've had. None have come close to you. Nor do I want anyone else."
"Good, because I don't want anyone else working with me. I can care for you just fine on my own." Elenia replied, then pointed a finger at the remaining servant of the house. "Take these back to Lady Halaevia's chambers. We're finished here. That one dress goes to the tailor. Tell him we need it for the evening's meal. Off you go!"
"I'd rather wear my riding clothes. They're more comfortable." Larynne said pouting as she sat on the bed naked, waiting for the boy to return with the dress. "I've a mind to wear them anyway."
"No, you won't, they smell to badly and look dreadful from traveling in them from Storm's End. Your new ones, you might get a way with. Until then it's dresses and all that finery for you." Alenia took up a brush on the night stand, got up on the bed behind Larynne on her knees and began brushing her bright, wavy red hair.
"That always feels so good when you brush my hair, Alenia. Can we skip dinner and just keep doing this?"
"No we can't. You're the one who invited Ser Giraud and Ser Densmore for dinner. They'll be expecting you. It wouldn't do for you to skip out on them. Especially with the mild chance that Lord Stannis decides to attend as well."
Larynne winced at that. "Good point. I want to speak with him on some matters, and I'd kick myself if I miss that chance."
"Yes, you would." Elenia deadpanned, as she took another handful of her hair and gently ran the brush downwards from underneath it, then repeated the stroke on top.
