"I wouldn't know and neither would Jaime." despite what Stannis claimed. He still had difficulty wrapping his head around Stannis turning to such foul tactics, he was not so old that he had lost his edge with a sword. He could fight his wars honourably. Unless there was something Ser Torin had not heard about. Perhaps that Onion Knight had decided to take a few fingers himself, but unless it was a very well kept secret he'd surely know.
"If the last Raven from my father is anything to go by they're twenty thousand strong. Twenty thousand corpses before long. Gregor Clegane will have his fun." Torin didn't like Gregor, not one bit....but he was very effective.
Kargan sloshed some wine around inside his mouth to cleanse his pallet of the butter and fish. "Twenty thousand warriors marching South. Aye, the Wolf and the Mountain are bound to clash soon enough then. Eddard's son has fashioned himself as King in the North too; a slap in the face of our dear Joffrey." Kargan was keen to know what the Lannister's knew. Since the beheading of Ned Stark the Lord of Pyke had begun plotting. He was keen to see what, if anything, the Lannister's intended to do with their army - his moves over the coming weeks would depend on what House Stark and House Lannister would do next. "From what we've seen here today I fancy the lion over the wolf in the open field, but I doubt Robb will let you flash your steel in the daylight. The North men are tricky." The serving wench came to clear the plates away as Kargan placed a rough, calloused hand on the small of her back, sizing her up through the wool of her tunic, "I reckon you should march to meet the pup at Riverrun, and keep him away from Joffrey and your sister. For their safety" he said as he pushed the girl away with disinterest.
