Mace had done a fair bit of eating but he had done much more drinking. Rising up from his table with a smile and slamming into his throat what was left of his wine he let the goblet down in a less then elegant manner before starting to stride towards the beautiful bride. "By the Seven! What a bride!" it bellowed out of his mouth with no restraint before he started licking his lips as he felt the remainder of wine dripping from his facial hair.
While others only half got into the spirit of things, Mace intended to give Lena the full traditional experience, as much shame and humiliation as he could put on the girl....as the Seven intended! Jaime Lannister, the blonde shit...and Adelaide's husband, the Knight had made a good start in removing from Lena her dress.
"The warrior maiden of the Vale! How many lads have you skewered? Now you'll be getting a good skewering yourself!" he highlighted his little joke with a hearty laugh, his chest shaking like the barrel of wine that it was. "Right, lets get her off her feet then! A bride must be carried to her chambers!" continued the Lord of Highever as he moved to her back, almost pushing Ser Duncan aside so he could grab Lady Lena under her arms. "Come on Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, get one of her legs up...and you too!" he continued, nodding his head towards Duncan. "Isn't that Torin a big man? What size is that brother of yours Jaime? Six'six? Six'seven? You'll notice him on top of you I reckon! Maybe you can ride your horse all day tomorrow and hope nobody notices you all bow-legged!" another great boom of laughter almost exploded out of his mouth, his eyes almost watering now.
