L'inarra nodded her head at the servant clearing the plates. She snapped her fingers, getting another to fill her glass of wine as the plates were cleared. Taking a long sip she cast a glance over at her husband. A small smile played on her features as she drank him in. He was tall and dark, rather rough and handsome around the edges. One reason why she threw her opinion out to her father for him to be her husband. And he was quite powerful. His money reached out to many places and only brought out more to the households. And, as far as she knew, he had been quite loyal to her. He had fathered two beautiful children that were ready to be married off soon. It was truly not how she pictured her life to be, though she couldn't ask for anything better.
Sipping more of her wine she got up, her fingers trailing the long table as she made her way towards Lucifer. Finishing her wine she handed it to a servant who quickly ran off. Nearing her husband she sat beside him. Reaching out her hand to rest upon his she gave another smile. He was to leave tomorrow so they kept the night quiet. He was to meet the new employer. L'inarra was still a little hurt that they were not coming to a party but she was sure that time would come.
"How long will you be gone for this time husband?" L'inarra asked in a small voice. She placed her second hand over his, a warm and concerning smile on her face. "You are always gone for so long. A woman can go mad without the company." she finished with a light laugh. "Perhaps you should take our son on one of these trips. He could use the experience..." she started, her eyes meeting his.
