Name: Rodrik Cerwyn
Age: 30
Place of Birth: Castle Cerwyn
Current Place of Residence: Stark Warcamp
House: House Cerwyn under King Robb
Family:
Lord Medger Cerwyn (Father, Deceased)
Lady Joan Cerwyn (Mother, Deceased)
Lady Jonella Cerwyn (twin sister, alive)
Cley Cerwyn (brother, deceased)
Appearance:
Garb: Rodrik usually dresses for warmth, so tunics and breaches of thick or heavy cotton and lined are common. He's fond of greens and reds so they feature prominently. Depending on if he's outdoors he'll often also wear thick leather gloves and boots.
Height: 5'11
Weight: 182 lbs
Personality:
An initial impression of Rodrik is that he is a simple enough Northern man, what you see is what you get. The man is the North embodied, cold and distant to outsiders with little care or tolerance for the way Southron folk fawn over each other as they preen about like birds with too colourful feathers. In the company of those that know what winter and the cold really are, he is much more amiable. Since the beginning of the war he has formed a greater sense of kinship with his fellow descendants of the First Men.
Rodrik entered the war under his father, Medger Cerwyn. In that role Rodrik was loyal, humble, dependable and dutiful as he supported his Lord and Liege. Since his fathers passing Rodrik has tried to step into the role as Lord of his House and leader of House Cerwyn's troops.

Weapons:
Rodrik fights in the Heavy Cavalry and his weapon of choice is a spear so he can ride down his opponents. The spear has no name nor is it made of Valryian steel. It is just a finely crafted spear of normal design. He pairs it with an oak shield with the House Cerwyn sigil at its front. He carries a castle forged longsword in his sword belt should he find himself in a situation where the length of his spear does not work.
Armour:
Like other members of the Northern Heavy Cavalry, Rodrik wears a suit of chainmail and leather with some steel to protect key spots. Its not as tough as plate, but its much lighter.
Skills:
Heavy Cavalry Rodrik might not have ever been a 'squire' or wear plate armour that shines in the sun like some preening knight shit from the South, but the Northern Warrior tradition was a part of his upbringing. Rodrik was trained by his father and House Cewyn's Master-at-Arms. Whenever Rodrik left Castle Cerwyn, he was atop a horse. The man rides like he was born in the saddle and he is highly proficient in driving his spear through heart, brain or balls. He is of moderate proficieny with the sword, the bow and the axe that features on the Cerwyn sigil, but an expert with the spear and atop a horse. He's also very dangerous with the spear in two hands when on foot, but not as much when he's able to ride you down with the accuracy to skewer your heart or cripple a leg as he see's fit.
Commander: Rodrik was taught to lead men by his father and first saw fighting when he was just about old enough too during Robert's rebellion and later King Robb's war. He sat in on the war council when Stark and Glover and Umber and Cerwyn and more devised strategies to fight the Lannister men. Rodrik had his first command when he lead a portion of House Cerwyn's mounted force in the battle of Green Fork under Roose Bolton. With his own father now dead, Rodrik is responsible for House Cerwyn's force. Rodrik Cerwyn can comfortably lead what he knows, the mounted troops. His tactics lack subtly and are hardly devious, but his lead from the front example and personal proficiency aid in inspiring the men. He might not be buddy-buddy with the troops, but they know he's their leader.
Hunter: Rodrik is fond of hunting and often went on week or two week long hunting sessions before the war started. He would ride out with hunting dogs, spear and bow. He is quite proficient at hunting boar, rabbit, pheasant, dear and most common prey. The skill has a certain capability to be translated to hunting people.
Weaknesses:
Commander: Rodrik Cerwyn is a competent battlefield leader for mounted forces, but his tactics rely on exploiting openings such as a vulnerable flank or a lack of proper counter for heavy mounted troops. Against savvy commanders he is predictable and against well prepared and formed groups he has limited efficiency. His experience is also somewhat lacking in comparison to more veteran Lords or even those that have been commanding troops since the beginning of the war.
'Preening shits': With spear & shield in hand and atop or horse or on foot with a spear in two hands Rodrik is a dangerous opponent, but that's his sphere of effectiveness. He considers Southron Knights 'preening shits' that put more importance on vows, shiney armour and riding about in tournaments. Truth is he underestimates the killing power of a well trained Knight. Even under optimal conditions he can't contend with the likes of Garlan or Loras Tyrell, Jaime or Torin Lannister and their type.
History:
Rodrik Cerwyn is the twin sibling to Jonella Cerwyn, the eldest children to Medgar & Joan Cerwyn. His youth was largely typical for a Lord's son. He learned lessons of the mind from the House Maester, lessons of the spirit from the House Septon and everything else from his father. Once he was old enough his father brought him hunting, a pursuit he would take a greater and greater interest in.
When King Aerys had Brandon and Rickard Stark executed, Ned Stark called the banners. 'Honed and Ready,' those are the House Cerwyn words and sure enough they were true. House Cerwyn was always particularly close to House Stark, residing the closest to Winterfell at only half a days ride. Medgar Cerwyn raised his banners, it was the first real fighting Rodrik saw. When Aerys was dead and Robert Baratheon was on the throne the Cerwyn's went home where Rodrik resumed learning, training, hunting and anything else he could find to take up his time.
Not long later the banners were raised again to deal with the Greyjoy Rebellion, where he took part in the fighting behind Ned Stark at Pyke. This time however, Rodrik wasn't a green boy of twelve, he was a seasoned man of nineteen and he proved it in the fighting. When the rebellion ended, the Cerwyn's just went home again.
Just as Aerys executed Rickard Stark and Eddard raised the banners, King Joffrey executed Eddard and Robb raised the banners. House Cerwyn once again answered the call to arms and once again Rodrik followed his father and liege to war. Rodrik was there when they named Robb Stark the King-in-the-North and added his voice to support. When the fighting proper started, Rodrik and his father were under Roose Bolton at the battle of Greenfork. The battle was a strategic victory but Medgar was taken captive by the enemy. Rodrik was forced to accept, take command and assist in the withdraw. Medgar later died in Harrenhal before a trade could be finalised.
Now Lord Rodrik Cerwyn supports King Robb and Lord Edmure Tully as they hold Riverrun and prepare to continue fighting the Lannisters.
