Name: Rickard Stark
Age: 20
Place of Birth: Winterfell
Current Place of Residence: Winterfell
House: House Stark
Family:
Eddard Stark : Father, Deceased
Catelyn Stark : Mother, Alive
Robb Stark : (Older) brother, alive
Sansa Stark : (younger) Sister, Alive
Arya Stark : (younger) Sister, Alive
Brandon Stark : (younger) Brother, Alive
Rickon Stark : (younger) Brother, Alive
Jon Snow : (older) Half-Brother, Alive
Appearance:
Garb: Rickard typically wears a simple shirt, and simple trouser because he knows it will either get covered by his armour or a long, warm coat made out of whatever pelt of animals he killed during his many hunts. The reason he wears such simple things is because he likes simplicity. It reminds him of how times were when he was just a little child.
Height: 6' 1.0"
Weight: 159 pounds
Personality:
Rickard is an optimistic man, and always manages to see the good side of things. He can even see the good thing in this war: regaining their old status. He loves his family, and would love to join his older brother down south to help fighting, but he knows that someone has to keep order in the city. The fact that it has to be him instead of his younger brother annoys him.
He also enjoys hunting, and will take every opportunity to hunt he can take. Another thing he loves is the vast emptiness, and the quietness that comes with it. Rickard will do just about anything for his family, and would very much like the war to end so his brother can come back home, or what's left of it.
Likes:
Hunting
The vast emptiness of the North

Dislikes:
The iron throne

Weapons: The blacksmith had been busy for days to make this steel, custom weapon, and it cost him. The sword has been made to fit him, and him alone. It's lighter than most other longswords, and is slightly larger. It isn't engraved or something, all it has is are blood groves. This is mostly decorative, but it also serves a purpose: It lightens the blade while it maintains it's strength.
Rickard's direwolf Shadow, named so because of it's all black fur, and it's golden eyes. The two share a special connection, and he takes it wherever he goes. The wolf has always been a bit larger than the others, and currently it's just as the others, larger than a normal wolf.
Armour: Rickard wears a light, steel plate armour. It is, like his sword, of the highest available quality the smith could make. Also like his sword, it isn't engraved with anything. He likes the emptiness, even though he can't see it when he wears it. Because of the overlapping plates, and not being one piece, it doesn't restrict his movement much, and because it's made out of relatively thin plates, it isn't extremely heavy either.
Skills: Rickard enjoyed the same training as his brothers, and thus is a skilled warrior. Whenever he's free, he tries to improve his swordsmanship by training with the soldiers, and anyone willing to train with him. Fighting bandits or wildlings that moved south also gave him some practical training.
Another thing Rickard is good at is, unlike his father, talking, and thereby convincing people. He was always able to convince his siblings to help him do things. He doesn't know where he had gained this, whether it was passed down from anyone, or whether he had developed this himself.
Weaknesses: Rickard gets too easily attached to people and things, and this can give potential enemies an advantage over him. He will help people whenever he can, even if he knows it's a trap. Though it has happened two times already, he fails to see it. Even though several people have told him.
Rickard has a really, really short temper. Ever since he was a child, whenever someone said something he didn't like, he hit that person, even if it meant he'd get wounded. Though occasionally it has brought him some good, most of the times it ends bad for him. Because of this short temper, he has also lost all of his friends.
History:
Rickard was Eddard Stark and Catlyn Tully's second child. When he was young, he would always do everything together with his older brother. He was also taught various things, like the history of Westeros, and how his family used to rule the north as a kingdom.
Though he was taught how to handle various weapons at a young age, he never really did anything with it until he was 15. Then he asked his father to train him, so that if the day would come he'd need it, he would be able to do it. Though he was no Jon Snow with a sword, he was quite capable with it. He still trains everyday, but still can't beat Robb.
While riding home after his father executed a man of the night's watch who had forsaken his vows Theon found a litter of dire wolf pups, their mother killed by a stag. Initially, there were 6 pups, and each of the Stark children was given one. Later, Jon found one as well. When they got home, Rickard named his direwolf 'shadow', after it's all black fur.
He was just returning from a successful hunt when he heard the news that his father had been taken prisoner and that the Starks would go to war to retrieve Eddard and his sisters. Jon was probably a man of the night's watch by now. He didn't know because he didn't really send much ravens, and when he did, it was quite uninformative. When Robb left to fight the boy king and his army, Rickard was given the duties of acting lord of Winterfell, in the absence of the acting lord of Winterfell. He didn't like it, but resisted the urges to go down south to help his older brother.'
At one point, Winterfell was captured by the man he was raised with, Theon Greyjoy. He resisted in whatever way he could, and at one point, during the night he escaped with his brothers Bran and Rickon, Hodor and Osha. After escaping Winterfell, they went North, to the wall and Jon and the Night's Watch.

'It's just another day' were the thoughts Rickard has woken up this day. So far they were true. It was just another day. Another boring day in the life of acting lord Rickard Stark, brother of Robb Stark. The king in the North. He was proud of his older brother, and still hoped his brother would take him south to fight. He didn't like staying behind, and make decisions that he thought didn't have an impact on the important war effort. Then the maester announced the next person to tell his story.
”My lord, I humbly ask you to hear my story, and grant me the favor.”
Oh, gods, another peasant complaining that he doesn't have enough men to plough the fields because my brother has taken all his sons to war
”Speak”
”Oh thank you my lord. I request justice to be brought to my village! A man, newly arrived, has been systematically murdering people, and the guards are just letting it happen! They know who he is and know the people that are reporting it! Yet they do nothing about it, and they seem to be protecting him! Please send men to have him killed, so we can get justice and peace back to our village.”
Rickard sighed. How many were that? Twenty villages with serial killers?
”Where do you think I am supposed to get these men? The war has taken most, and the few I have here are tasked with guarding Winterfell! There is no market where I can buy them. And am I supposed to act on one man's opinion? Get me the man, and the family of those that were killed, and I will consider it.”
”Thank you my lord”
That was it for the day. Hopefully Robb would return soon. Rickard didn't think he could keep doing this. It was just so very boring! Then he went into the yard to enjoy the unusually warm weather and to train some more. Afterward he had dinner and went to bed. Tomorrow it would all be done again.
