Ana gave a sigh as she cast a glance through the curtains of her carriage. All she saw she didn't truly care for. She missed her fathers great castle and more than anything she hated riding in a carriage. She gave a glance over to her two handmaidens who were riding with her. The looked more nervous than she felt. Riding out to meet her betrothed for the first time was a bit overwhelming. She could easily understand why these girls would be scared or nervous. Up-rooted from their cozy home to a new place among the honour bound birds it would seem. Giving another sigh she leaned back, lifting a leg to look at her jeweled slippers.
Ana chose to look her most beautiful today. She wore a dress of deep red, hanging low about her breast and barely covering her shoulders. Her hair was an intricate tousle of braids and jewels, curling about her lithe neck, giving an inviting appearance. She wore a thin circlet or rubies and black stones about her neck, drawing the eye to her breast, where a thin line of cleavage hinted to more. Her dark dress was tied at the wait with a black belt. Black fur trimmed her sleeves and the foot of her dress. She was covered in matching rubies and black stone about her fingers as well as her ears.
She quickly perked up at the sound of voices, they must be coming nearer to her new home. At the moment her stomach was nearly churning. Perhaps she was more nervous than she thought. The carriage came to a slow halt, more voices flitting about. She wondered which one was her betrothed. She only hoped he was good to look at. It was sure to be hard to pretend to love an ugly man for many years. She allowed her first handmaiden out, young Meriam. Trinia followed her, both offering their hands towards Ana as she left the dark warmth of the carriage and made her first step upon her new home...
