Appearance:
Garb: The Ironborn care little for pretty gowns and garments unless they are taken by force. Victarion would rather sell these or give them to his crew. He was too Iron for these types of clothes and preferred to wear leather and wool.
Height: 6'1
Weight: 192 pounds
Personality: Victarion is a hard man with a hard nature as is the Ironborn way. He holds true to the old way but can see its flaws, he is not as devoted to the way as Balon is, he follows it well enough but when there is an opportunity that will benefit the Ironborn but goes against the Old Ways he will give it serious consideration and consult with his most trusted me.
Having grown up following his older brother in all that he did, Victarion leant how to follow orders and to consult others. It did not matter where these strategies came from be it from Balon, Euron or a member of his crew if he believed in them he would carry them out. In battle there is no one more fearsome than Victarion Greyjoy, his size and unforgiving nature make him a formidable foe especially on the sea. Outside of battle he is a calm man and often doesn't get into the politics of things, leaving that to his more than capable older brother Balon. But with his death things may change as he has left no male heir and no true Iron Born would follow a woman into battle. Victarion may be fierce and unforgiving in battle, but he holds great respect for his opponents in battle.

Dislikes:
Weapons: Victarion's weapon of choice is his deadly one handed Axe. He wields his axe in his right hand and his shield bearing the Kraken sigil on his left. He does have a steel sword that he keeps sheathed on his back but he prefers not to use it unless he loses his axe.
Armour: Victarion's Armour. Victarion wears a Kraken helm and steel plate into battle. Many people fear that wearing heavy armour whilst sailing a ship will course that person to drown, but Victarion has no fear of drowning, the drowned god protects him on his voyage's at all times. Only the weak fear drowning.
Skills: Victarion's main skills are war skills. He is quite possibly the best sailor in Westeros, at the head of the Iron Fleet he is quite a force to be reckoned with. Other than sailing his is a fearsome warrior and would love to test his axe against the blades of the kingsguard, but for now he is content with slaying any man who gets in his way.
Weaknesses: Victarion is a stubborn man and holds grudges forever, he has not forgiven his brother for impregnating his salt wife and so he beat her to death with his own hands. He struggles on a daily basis with the belief in the drowned god and the Old Ways that his brother believes so much in. This dilemma threatens to tear Victarion apart at any moment, he would love nothing more than killing the Crows Eye for how he shamed him but Kinslaying is an ultimate sin, his brother Euron has got away with sinning and shaming those who follow the Drowned God and what was Victarions reward for his devoutness? His wife impregnated by his brother and he had then had to beat her to death, where is the justice in that?
Victarion, like many other Iron Born, does not know the courtly courtesys that the noble men and women of Westeros know. He will come across as arrogant and disrespectful when treating with people of a noble birth in Westeros, he is of the opinion that on a ship Victarion is a King. Being Lord Captain makes him the King of Kings and his has rubbed off on his personality.
History:
Victorian was born to Quellon Greyjoy's second wife, he was the third son and so from a young age followed his brother Balon loyally where ever he went and did what he told him to do. When Balon Greyjoy rose in rebellion against the Iron Throne, Victarion followed him dutifully and led the Iron Fleet to Lannisport and burnt the Lannister fleet after following Euron's plan. A great victory, one that propelled his fame and skill as a captain to the highest. Victarion was seen as a great commander of the Iron Fleet but that could not stop his fleet from being crushed by Stannis Baratheons far superior fleet. Despite this defeat and Balon losing the rebellion, he continued as Lord Captain of the Iron Fleet when Balon bent the knee and was allowed to keep his head.
After some more years of faithful service his relationship came to a make or break point with Balon. The Crows Eye had seduced and impregnated his third wife, which caused Victarion to demand revenge. Kinslayer is the biggest sin a man can commit and to spare Victarion of this, Balon had banished Euron from the Iron Islands and Victarion beat his wife to death with his bare hands to retain his honour. After several more years Balon decided to rise up in rebellion again, this time the odds were more in his favour with Westeros divided. The Wolves and Lions were fighting eachother, The stags fought eachother and no one seemed concerned with the Iron Islands, a perfect opportunity. The plan had been devised and Victarion was charged with delivering Moat Cailin to the Iron Born. A task he completed. Now he would wait for his brothers command, a man who he followed faithfully and loyally. He would sail to the ends of the world for his older brother, the Kraken will rise again, long live King Balon the Twice-Crowned!
