Name: Margaery Tyrell
Age: sixteen
Place of Birth: Highgarden
Current Place of Residence: King's Landing
House: House Tyrell
Family:
Grandmother – Olennna Redwyne
Father: Mace Tyrell
Mother: Alerie Hightower
Brothers: Willas Tyrell, Lord Garlan Tyrell, Ser Loras Tyrell
Appearance:
Garb: Margaery's clothing style is tasteful, but provocative, showcasing her curves to perfection. She often shows a bit of midriff, a glimpse of shoulder, and quite a few of her gowns are almost scandalously low-cut.
Height: 5' 2”
Weight: 95 lbs
Personality:
Margaery is a mixture of sunlight and shadow. Born with the lethal combination of beauty and brilliance, she learned early how to manipulate others in order to get her way. Yet she does it in such a pure and guileless manner that most people do not realize they are being manipulated until it is too late. She can be sweet when she wants to be, but is quite ruthless when someone stands in the way of something she desires.
Passionately ambitious, she thinks out her moves in advance,. Her mind is ruled by logic rather than emotion. She never gives up until she has exhausted all her options, and even then, she simply comes up with new ways to achieve her goals. Margaery is devious, cunning, clever, and creative … and believes that subtlety is the key to power.
The young woman has a natural and innocent charisma, and her preferred method of getting what she wants is by a gentle and quiet persuasion. Almost everything she does is designed to entrance those who can help her with her plans. It is easy to like her and she has the rare talent of becoming whatever anyone wants her to be in order to achieve her goals. And what she wants above all else is to be Queen of Westeros. She doesn't plan the title to be strictly ceremonial either. Margaery plans to rule beside her husband … or even instead of him.
Contrarily, Margaery is a compassionate young woman who cares deeply for all people. She enjoys helping the poor, not for the praise they give her, but because she finds the experience personally rewarding. She is unwilling to hurt anyone to achieve her ambitions. Margaery believes her goals can be realized without violence, although she will feign enjoyment of even something she abhors if it gets her closer to her dreams.

Skills:
Flexibility: Margaery charms others by becoming whatever they want her to be, and can change her demeanor at will. If someone thinks her sweet and innocent, then she easily assumes that role. If another believes her cold and callous, she can perform that part flawlessly too. She can be a shameless flirt, a demure young woman, or anything that anyone can imagine.
Compassion: Margaery genuinely cares for people and likes helping the less fortunate. She is also unwilling to hurt anybody in achieving her ambitions.
Weaknesses:
Ambition: Margaery thinks she is a master at manipulation, when in truth, she can be manipulated herself if someone dangles something she wants dearly in front of her. She is so focused on her goals she may not realize she is being used.
Inexperience: Margaery believes she is invincible and that no one can stand in her way, but those who are older and more skilled in politics and intrigue can use her youthful inexperience to their advantage.
History:
The youngest child and only daughter of Lord Mace Tyrell and his wife Lady Alerie, Margaery was spoiled and pampered and given anything her little heart desired. Her parents and brothers alike doted on her, and even her formidable grandmother Olenna Redwyne had a soft spot in her heart for little Margaery. As such, she could get away with quite a bit of mischief, and she was a lively, vibrant child … a natural leader who came up with creative games and fun pastimes for her friends to enjoy. Some of those games got them into trouble, but Margaery was intelligent enough to talk her way out of it most of the time.
As befitted the daughter of one of the wealthiest houses in the Seven Kingdoms, she was given a fine comprehensive education, amazing her tutors with her insight into subjects such as politics, economics, philosophy, and strategy … things that most women had no interest in. Highly competitive, she excelled in her lessons and bested her brothers in some subjects, even though they were older than she.
At the age of twelve, Margaery was separated from her companions and became lost in the city. Trying to find her way back, she wandered into a poor part of town, and for the first time in her young life, she realized that everyone was not as fortunate as herself. From then on, she made a habit of helping the smallfolk as best she could, and they loved her for it.
Despite her compassionate nature, Margaery developed a sense of entitlement and expected nothing but the best for herself. From an early age, she decided that she wanted to be Queen of Westeros, even if she did have to marry a man distasteful to her in order to achieve her goals. When her brother Loras told her that Renly Baratheon was planning to show her portrait to his own brother the King and tell him about her in the hopes he would set aside Queen Cersei in order to marry her instead, she was elated. King Robert might have been old, fat, and unattractive, but he was King. He had the power that Margaery craved, and since he was mostly in his cups, the young girl believed that it would not be long before she was ruling the Seven Kingdoms in his place.
However, that didn't work out and it wasn't long afterward that King Robert died in a hunting accident. Both of his brothers proclaimed themselves King, and Renly enlisted the help of the Tyrells, which was sealed with his marriage to Margaery, making her a Queen at last. Renly was young and quite handsome and a much better match for her than Robert would have been. He did have a secret that Margaery was aware of … he was in love with Loras and preferred men over women.
Margaery thought that he would at least be able to perform his marital duties and get her with child, but he wasn't the least bit enticed by her charms. She even suggested a threesome that would include Loras as well, but Renly wasn't interested in that either. The only suggestion he made in regard to bedding her was not only distasteful but it would not have resulted in a child.
When he was killed, Margaery mourned the loss of her title more than she mourned her husband. She and Loras went back to Highgarden, but House Tyrell eventually allied itself with the King and was instrumental in ousting Stannis during the Battle of Blackwater. The Tyrells were given various rewards for their part in the battle, and Margaery was delighted when she discovered she was going to be betrothed to King Joffrey.
Finally, her ambitions are being realized. She is going to be Queen of Westeros at last and she will do anything in her power to make certain that the position is not torn from her grasp.
