Name: Ser Bryce Tully
Age: 25
Place of Birth: Riverrun
Current Place of Residence: Riverrun
House: House Tully
Family:
Lord Hoster Tully- Father and former Lord of Riverrun and Lord Parmount to the Riverlands (Deceased)
Lady Minisa Tully- Mother (Deceased)
Lady Catelyn Stark- Sister
Lady Lysa Arryn- Sister
Lord Edmure Tully- Brother and current Lord of Riverrun and Lord Paramount to the Riverlands
Ser Brynden Tully- Uncle
Garb: When not preparing for combat, Bryce can be seen wearing suits of blue and green silk with a pair of lavish blue and silver boots to match. He can almost always be found with his signature blue cloak that hangs over his right shoulder. The cloak is made of fine silks and is fastened above his right collar with a lavish sliver trout jumping from the water. He dresses for style mostly when not preparing to fighting in a battle, but since the war's beginning he's taken to wearing leathers and furs to be more practical in the field along with more practical riding boots, but still bears his blue cloak wherever he goes.
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 190 lbs.
Personality: Bryce is a soldier first and foremost. All of his life, he has grown up learning the ways of war and little else, which makes him come off as a rather hard man compared to his older brother, Edmure. However, his father also instilled within him the honor and chivalry that all highborn children need to participate in the courts of the Kingdom. His father also taught him how to act in front of the opposite sex as to not come off as such a hard cold and harsh man. While he was taught how to act in the courts, he refuses to deal in situations that require behind the scenes work such as plotting, subterfuge and assassination as it is dishonorable and petty to him.
Despite being a anointed Knight, Bryce doesn’t fight as a Knight of the South would. Heavy plate armor and thick lances make a good display in the tournaments, but in battle, they’ve proved to be less than effective to him. He prefers keeping himself and his forces light to outmaneuver his enemies rather than to punch through with sheer force.
While he is a soldier in nearly all aspects of his life, Bryce still holds a deep love for his family. His brothers and sisters are closer to him than any man could ever be, and he would truly die for them all, something he showed during his unrelenting pursuit of his brother's captors. Friendship is also something he holds dear, and if one is to gain the trust of Bryce, then they will forever have themselves a friend to call upon.

Weapons: Bryce's weapon of choice is his fine steel longsword and it can be found on him at any time. The weapon is finely crafted and honed so that the point is deadly and the edges razor sharp. The words ‘Family, Duty, Honor’ are engraved upon the base of the blade closest to the hilt. The hilt itself is rather plain with a leather grip and a simple ball for a pommel. While he prefers not to use it while on foot, he has a thick wooden shield that bears his family coat of arms and is quite proficient with using it.
Armour: When in combat, Bryce is always seen wearing a set of fine banded mail and scale armor. While it is not as heavy as most knight’s armor, it allows for more mobility while still being able to take a hit from a sword blow. The armor is further reinforced with a layer of hardened leather underneath to help soften the blow if anything manages to punch through his mail. He wears a dark blue cloak over his armor, fastened around his neck with silver trout pendent, but can be quickly detached if it becomes a burden in combat.
While in a tournament, Bryce's armor set changes to a set of plate armor, designed to take a hit from a lance. The armor is considered to be outdated and shabby, but it serves its purpose to Bryce so he does not spend the money to acquire a new set. The armor itself is as plain as it can be, being nothing but iron plate and his blue cloak.
Skills: Trained Swordsman- Bryce has spent the larger part of his life training with the sword and learning its ways, therefore he has a good grasp on the weapon and can wield it with deadly force. He has been known not to be one that others cross swords with.
Skilled tactician- Along with sharpening his skills with his weapon, his father sharpened his mind in the ways of battle as well. From hours and days of studying ancient battles and wars fought long ago, Bryce has a firm grasp on battlefield tactics and prefers to keep his force light and elusive to confuse the enemy.
Horsemenship- Being able to ride a horse is essential to any Knight, and Ser Bryce has been training to ride horses by just the touch of the knee so that he can wield both a lance and shield without needing to take a hold of the reins. He prides himself on his ability to gracefully ride any horse.
Mounted and Dismounted Warrior- Ser Bryce is adept at fighting both from horseback and on foot. After years of training he is proficient enough to hold his own in both fields of battle.
Weaknesses: Honour Bound- Bryce's refusal to take part in the behind the scenes of the Kingdom’s is a severe setback to his advancement and capabilities in war.
Passionate- Bryce's passion is fierce and when his mind is set upon something he will throw his entirety into it until he accomplishes his goal. This can blind him sometimes to the hurt he’s causing to himself or others around him in the pursuit of his goal.
Bold- Some say fortune favors the bold, but the saying has been proven to be wrong on many accounts. Bryce enjoys bold tactics that would confuse and disorient his enemy by being unpredictable. While being bold can bring great victories, it can also lead to disastrous defeats as well.
History: Bryce was born the second son of Lord Hoster Tully of Riverrun and the fifth and youngest of the Tully children. His mother died early on in his life giving birth to his younger sibling who also did not survive the ordeal. Bryce spent much of his time as a child training to ride horses and become a knight. While he was growing up, his father took Petyr Balish on as a ward, and the boy grew up with the Tully boys almost as a brother.
On his twelfth nameday, Bryce was sent to become a squire to their Lord father’s brother Ser Bryden Tully, or the Blackfish, despite the family disputes. It was here that Bryce found his passions in life. From the first day he arrived at his uncle's estate, the Blackfish had him training with the blade. He’d never seriously trained with a blade before and on the first day, Bryden beat him senselessly with a wooden sword to begin his training. For years, the Blackfish beat the lessons of becoming a Knight into Bryce through sheer trauma. On more than one occasion, Bryce would slip up and drop his guard to the Blackfish or one of his Master-at-Arms who was training him and have his head split open or eye swollen shut from the savagery of the training. It was during this time that Bryce began garnering a great deal of respect for his uncle that he still holds to this day.
As a squire, he accompanied uncle to many tournaments across Westeros. On his first tournament, Bryce became fed up with the whole scene before the first joust. The heralds were taking their sweet time introducing the Knights and waiting for the cheering and applause, and then they would wait for the Sers to profess their love to the most beautiful women in the crowd. It was too much for him. But then finally the lances were lowered and the horses thundered down the lists to collide with one another. From that moment on, Bryce was in love with tournaments. He dreamed of the day that he would be the one riding down his opponent and crushing him with a lance.
When his eighteenth nameday arrived, Bryce ceased his duties as a squire to his uncle and became a anointed Knight of the Kingdom. He spent his two years of Knighthood in the Jousting lists and making a name for himself. Not long after his nameday, he was offered a bride from one of the lesser houses in the Riverlands. He was married to his bride, and within a year she was pregnant with their first child, but upon giving birth she died along with their child, just as his mother. Ser Bryce was left without a wife nor a child.
In his twentieth year, Lord Tully tasked his son with defending the roads that connected Riverrun to the King’s Road, which were constantly being raided by wild men from the North and other bandits. It was here, that Ser Bryce learned some very valuable lessons. On his first time sallying forth to meet the bandits, he realized that they do not fight honorably and would rather flee when confronted with a squadron of Knights in full ornate plate armor. After riding the roads for weeks with seeing not so much as a few peasants on their way to the market, Bryce decided to change his tactics. He forwent his plate armor and heavily armed Knights for a company of archers and swordsmen. They were few and numbers, but they were rigorously trained. He donned his simple chain and scale and left his horse bare of all armor. His new company tore through the woods, slaughtering any wild camps that might have been suspected of raiding the road ways or nearby towns.
His campaign cleared the roads near Riverrun, but only for a time. The bandits quickly learned to keep moving, making Bryce's job that much harder. He continued his father’s orders until the onset of the War with the new King Joffery when he abandoned his task and answered the Stark’s call for war. After the Battle of the Golden Tooth, Bryce was able to link up with the Blackfish and eventually Robb Stark where they lifted the Siege of Riverrun and then captured Jamie Lannister at the Battle of the Whispering Wood.
With the Siege of Riverrun lifted and the War in full swing, Bryce now marches on the Lannisters to make them pay for ever entering the Riverlands.

Bryce's horse stamped the ground angrily. He didn’t like waiting just like Bryce did not. He reached down and patted the destier’s flank to calm him down. It worked, only for a while however and within ten minutes, the horse was stamping the ground again. It reminded him of how his horse liked to run free, and if this would have been any other day back in the fields around Riverrun, then he would have taken the horse as far and as fast as he could. But, alas he was here, one the King's Road waiting for the ambush that would come.
“Here they come, Ser.” His Man-at-Arms remarked to him as the bandits came across the open ground for the wagon train that was lumbering across the King’s Road.
“I see them.” He said to his Man-at-Arms and then motioned for his archers to move into position. The large, broad shouldered men quickly moved to the treeline and readied their bows. His horse started stamping again. “Not long now,” he mumbled to the horse as he walked the animal slowly to the edge of the treeline. The bandits, about forty in number, were all on foot but more than capable than running down a slow moving wagon train.
The area before them stretched out for about a mile in open grassland and the trees that his men were sheltering themselves in were the only sign of foliage in a long ways. ‘It’s the perfect place for an ambush, couldn’t the bandits see that?’ No, they probably couldn’t. They were just bandits and he was a Knight of Riverrun, a Tully, and he was trained and proficient in war where they could only raid, pillage and destroy.
Shrieks shot out from the wagons as the merchants saw the bandits running across the open plains. They were close enough now. He thought and then glanced down to his archers. “Fire,” he said and the thirty bowmen loosed their first volley. The white feathered arrows arched up through the sky and plummeted down atop the bandits, cutting them down mercilessly. More than a dozen men stopped in their tracks to see their dead comrades around them. The enemy panicked. Some continued on to the wagons while others turned to flee. It didn’t really matter, for the all were going to die.
Ser Bryce hefted his spear and spurred his horse out of the woodline. “Riverrun!” He yelled as he kicked the destrier into a full gallop. His battlecry was answered with twenty others as the rest of his horsemen charged from the trees. The horses tore across the open field and rushed into the panicking the bandits. Bryce lowered his spear and plunged it into the back of a fleeing man. He left the weapon sticking out of the man’s back and rode on to the next target, drawing his sword to make the kill. He was atop the man within a few seconds and slashed his blade across the man’s body, catching his just below the neck and nearly splitting him in half with a single stroke. A moment later, he was on top of another bandit and swung downwards catching him atop the head, crushing the petty helm that cover his head. He screamed for a second before falling down to the ground dead. Bryce continued his charge through the bandit lines and watched them fall to the ground around the Tully soldiers.
Bryce pulled back on his horse’s reins to see the effect of his charge. The horsemen had run down the last of the bandits and the swordsmen he’d brought along just in case were emerging from the trees just in case there were more bandits lingering. There were none, or if there were then they were smart enough not to show themselves. They day was won, and the road would be safe for a while longer.
