Height: 5’ 2”
Weight:115 pounds
Personality:
Daenerys is polite and well-spoken, but filled with quiet determination. Her brother’s ambitions and his cruel rages left her meek and timid, but since marrying Drogo and becoming the Khaleesi of the Dothraki, she has become a confident, proud young woman. She has become well versed in the ways of commanding her people, especially since the death of her husband. Although she is still young, and so a little naive still, she is intelligent, diligent, and able to make her choices wisely.
For the whole of her life, Daenerys had been bounced back and forth between one benefactor to the next, who all wanted a part of her brother’s ‘campaign’ to back the true heir to the Iron Throne. Because of this, she has never known a true home, which is probably why she feels so at home with her Dothraki people. It also makes her determined to give her khalasar something that they have never had - stability in one place, without the fear of having to move again.
Having always lived in her brother’s shadow has allowed for Daenerys to understand how the more downtrodden of the world live. Because of this, she is deeply sympathetic to those who are dominated, both mentally and physically, by others, and will do what she can to help them. This sympathy is a double-edged sword, though. She still harbours a lot of anger towards her brother, even though he is dead, and it makes her completely ruthless when it comes to dealing with those she believes to be oppressors. All those years under Viserys’ domination have made her a very black-and-white thinker in situations like this.
The Targaryen madness has no affected her as it affected her father and Viserys. She has, however, shown in many situations that she has inherited her family’s ruthlessness. Unlike Viserys, who was a cruel, demanding man to everyone - benefactors, servants, and his sister alike – Daenerys is grateful to all those who are loyal to her, and is compassionate towards their needs. Some would say that she is closer in personality to her brother Rhaegar than her parents, or Viserys.

Weapons: Her dragons, her quick mind.
Skills: She isn’t called the Mother of Dragons without cause. It was she who awoke the dragons’ eggs given to her as a wedding present. She has raised her dragons as one would raise children, and they are fiercely loyal to her. The way that she can control them would not be possible for anyone else, but she does so with such ease and grace that you would believe that she was a dragon in human form.
She is fluent in High Valerian, having learnt it when she was but a child, something that surprises many people in Essos, being that she is a Westerosi.
Since she married Drogo, she had her handmaidens and servants teach her Dothraki, something that pleased her husband. Now, with her husband gone, her knowledge of Dothraki has proved even more important to being able to command her people, and converse with them for everything.
The Common Tongue is another language that Daenerys can speak with ease, as it is one of the languages that she is most likely to need when she travels to Westeros to reclaim her throne.
Weaknesses: There are not many things that would make the Mother of Dragons weak. However, she doesn't agree to anything that allows another person's rights to be violated. Be it slavery or rape, Daenerys cannot abide it.
If she meets a slave, she will try to set them free. She understands what it is like to be under the oppression of someone, and the thought that anyone else should have to suffere that is something that she cannot allow to happen.
Any man who attempts to rape a woman is another target on her list. When the Dothraki would raid villages, part of their celebrations were to rape the women. It was Daenerys who stood up for her fellow woman and told them that they would never rape a woman again. She had expected her husband not to back her decision, but he did.
Although these may not seem like a weakness, as Khaleesi and as a woman, standing up to men about their decision to rape a woman, or make someone a slave, can have dangerous consequences. The man in question could attempt to rape her instead of his previous target, or enslave her, or both. She is still very much naive in that sense, but she will not back down even when she should.
History:
Daenerys Targaryen was the last child to be born to Rhaella and Aerys II Targaryen. Conceived just before the revolt began on her father’s reign, her mother was sent to Dragonstone with Viserys, in order to keep the family safe. That, however, was not to be, as Rhaella died giving birth to Dany. Viserys became her only family, and he was not the most kind of guardians, prone to moodswings and violence. The two lived a life of exile, moving from place to place when they had outwelcomed their stay.
During their time in Pentos, she was taken into the home of Magister Illyrio, who unwittingly helped Dany to discover herself. He arranged for the young Targaryen to marry Khal Drogo. It was this marriage that allowed Dany to truly become the strong leader that she needed to be. At first, she was meek, and wasn’t sure that she would be able to adjust to the life of a Khaleesi, but time passed and she learnt to stand up for herself. She stopped members of her husbands’ khalasar from raping the women in the towns that they conquered. Her husband, proud of his wife, stood by her decision. When she fell pregnant, her husband had clearly grown tired of her brother’s games, and killed him, pouring a pot of molten gold over his head. Dany didn’t flinch.
After a raid, Khal Drogo was injured badly. Desperate to save him, Dany went to seek the help of a priestess. She is warned that the priestess will not be able to do what she asks, but Dany needed to try something, anything to bring her husband back. During the rite, she went into labour. It wasn’t until she awoke the next day that she found out that her son was a stillborn, and that her husband lived, but not as he was. He had taken on almost a zombie-like existence. She couldn’t stand to see her husband like that, she took his life. This split the khalasar, but she gained their trust again after walking through a fire unharmed, the result of which allowed the three dragon eggs that she and Drogo had received as wedding gifts to hatch.
Leading the Khalasar, Dany finds shelter in an abandoned city, and eventually to Quarth. Quarth was not what it seemed, and Dany and her khalasar had to leave quickly. Two agents from Magister Illyrio arrive with three ships to take her and her army back to Pentos. However, they decide to make a detour to Astapor, to purchase an army of Unsullied, which is where she is headed now.

“Mori zalat virzentha,” Daenerys said to Rahkaro. They had been travelling for two weeks, and she had decided that they would make camp here for a few days, allow the horses to rest and recover, and her people as well. They were celebrating a small victory today. They had made it this far, and they were not dead yet. And that called for wine.
“Sek, Khaleesi,” Rahkaro responded. With a small bow, Rahkaro left her side to attend to the wine for the others. Looking around, Daenerys felt truly happy for a small moment. They had made it this far. They were one step closer to Westeros, one step closer to the Iron Throne, one step closer to the bastard Lannister who had killed her father. And she would have her vengeance on him. And the usurper, Robert Baratheon. She would kill them both with her bare hands if she had to, although the idea of using Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion to tear them both to shreds and burn them to a crisp was one that filled her with glee. She deserved to be on the Iron Throne, much more than anyone else that sat there now.
The only thing that she wished, even now, was that Drogo were by her side, ruling with her. She missed him, now more than ever. She was realising her dream, but without the man who had made it all possible in the first place. Ser Jorah stepped closer to her. “Khaleesi, is everything alright?” he asked her quietly. She had not realised that her eyes had betrayed her feelings, soft tears rolling down her cheeks. She made to wipe them away quickly. Crying was not a thing that a Khaleesi did. Not in front of her people, at least. ”Yes, Ser Jorah, I am fine,” she said. ”Just remembering.”
