This takes place before marching to Kings Landing
Family, Duty, Honor, were the words that were engraved on the hearts of the brave bold men of the Riverlands. They stood for what is right, fought with justice, with honor. Their word was their bond, and so was their actions, which was why it was important to do the right thing. Since taking the reigns as Lord of Riverrun, his first act was that to lift the siege of Winterfell, where Robb spoke of his intentions to attack King's Landing, to recover his fathers' bones and return all that belongs to the Starks, his sisters, back to Winterfell where they belong.
House Tully is a noble and proud House which put family above all else, which was why in the family motto, it was family first, and the Starks were family. Since Lord Edmyn Tully became Lord Paramount of the Riverlands by the Targaryen's, the Tully's have long served the Iron Throne, but how could they serve the boy King who now sat on the Iron Throne with no honor at all. It was by this boy King who had ordered the execution of the honorable Lord Eddard Stark, proclaimed the Starks as traitors, not only staining the good name of Stark, but the name of Tully also.
The Riverlands wholeheartedly pledged allegiance to the King of the North, and now, Lord Edmure Tully and the brave men of the Riverlands behind him, entered Riverrun as Ser Robin Ryger arranged the siege equipment that would march with Lord Edmure as he marched side-by-side to King's Landing with King Robb Stark. Edmure and his knights left the main bulk of the army to the castle where he came face-to-face with Ser Robin Ryger. "Lord Tully, arrangements have been made, and simply await your order".
Ser Robin was once a tenacious strong fighter back in his younger days, and though his abilities have decreased over time, he still retains his boastfulness and his loyalty and honor is unquestioned. Ser Robin served as Captain of the Guard and now he would be Lord Edmure's Bannerman who would accompany him to King's Landing to help lead his voices, especially if the plan intended didn't go to plan. With the siege equipment set, it would soon be time to move on. Lord Edmure nodded as he put his hand on his shoulder and smiled, "Good work Ser Ryger, the men await to see your prowess", as the two laughed.
Passing Ser Ryger, Edmure looked on to see Ser Desmond Grell, who was the master-at-arms at Riverrun who had spent the better part of his life in service to House Tully. Edmure knew Desmond back when he was a kid, starting as a squire, and then later a knight, before becoming the master-at-arms. Now that Edmure was to ride out to Kings Landing in force, Ser Desmond would have a new position before he left, as he looked to him before lifting his head up, tall and proud, "Ser Desmond Grell. I'm to leave with our forces and hereby leave you in the position of Commander of Riverrun in my absense".
The aged Knight brought his left hand up with his palm straight and his right hand which folded into a fist which went into each other and lowered, along with his head as he bowed, "Thank you Mylord. I wish you well on your campaign". Edmure smiled, "I wish you well also. You will have the aid of Utherydes Wayn and Maester Vyman who will assist you. I will return as soon as the campaign is over".
However, it was questionable how the campaign would fare out, but with honor and justice on his side, then the North-Trident Alliance will come out on top!
