Takes place during the Battle of King's Landing, 299AL
Lady Eirianna Lannister leisurely moseyed about her chambers, calming collecting her belongings that she would rather not have in enemy hands should they take the city. Concealing intelligence letters, her coding journals, and a few trinkets of sentimental value in the folds of her stygian and silver robes, the highborn lady prepared herself incase she and her family should need to flee King’s Landing. Though she thought it a slim possibility, since her nephews we’re defending the city from their adversaries’ siege. They were lions after all. While her niece was keeping the noblewomen of the city occupied, Eiriana thought she could be of more service away from the Queen Regent. Besides, she did not want to be stuck in a chamber filled with terrified hens.
She could hear the sling of the catapults and the clash of steel from outside her wide bay window. The echoes of battle did not faze her in the least. In fact, the Lady Lannister grinned a content and satisfied smile every time she heard what she thought was a cry of death from the enemy ranks. It was like music to her ears.
Yes she knew, though she had the utmost confidence in her family, that she should not stay in her rooms for too long. So after glancing about her stately chambers a final time making sure she did not forget anything of paramount importance, the Lady Lannister abandoned her chambers, slipping craftily out of her door. With a stoic and dignified expression, Eiriana swiftly glided through the long halls of the Red Keep, her silver acicular with onyx embellishments glistened in the moonlight that filter through the windows. She moved like a shadow… her steps never wavering. Yet, the noblewoman was cautious. Her crystal blue eyes were always glancing at her surrounding, and she had her hands tucked in her sleeve with her nimble fingers wrapped around her steel dagger. One never knew what enemies were lurking in the dark.
