Name: Joffrey Baratheon
Age: 17
Place of Birth: King's Landing
Current Place of Residence: King's Landing
House: Baratheon
Family:
Robert Baratheon - (legal father, deceased)
Cersei Lannister - mother - Serves as Queen Regent
Jaime Lannister - father/uncle - Head of Kingsguard
Tywin Lannister - grandfather - Hand of the King
Tyrion Lannister - uncle - Acting Hand
Renly Baratheon - uncle
Stannis Baratheon - uncle
Myrcella Baratheon - sister
Tommen Baratheon - brother
Sansa Stark - betrothed
Appearance:
Garb: King Joffrey wears the finest silks and velvet that Dragons can buy. Gold and red are his colours of choice, and more often than not he will be dressed in some combination of the two.
Height: 5ft 9'
Weight: 160lbs
Personality: Joffrey was strong-willed as a child and has an uncontrollable temper, not unlike his mother's, and an unchecked sadistic streak. He has little sense of right or wrong, which often leads him to cruelty, especially when he loses his temper. As King he has shown himself to be decisive, but has also shown himself to be wicked. He has a dim view of the Kingdom's smallfolk, and he is remarkably arrogant with the Lannister army at his back. However arrogant Joffrey is there is one man to keep him in check and that is his uncle Tyrion. He does not hate him and often sees sense in what the Imp has to say, however, he does get annoyed when he cannot get his own way. Despite seeming to have a cold heart he can be kind and gentle as seen in his earlier years, before his fathers death. He know feels betrayed by Sansa and can no longer trust her, for her father is a traitor. A king cannot marry a traitors daughter and her brothers rebellion has not helped the matter, Joffrey needs to find a new lover to win his heart and turn him into the great King and leader he is destined to be. With rebels claiming the Kings land over the realm, he looks to end this period of uncertainty and stake his claim as the greatest King since Aegon the conqueror.

Weapons: Joffrey uses a sword named Hearteater. It is a one-handed sword that Joffrey wields, yet does not actually kow how to use properly.
Armour: Joffrey, when he does enter onto the battlefield, wears armour similar to those of his kingsguard. He wears gold plate and scale armor with black detailing and black armour. Upon his breast is a Lion and a Stag. He also has a red cape to show his Lannister blood.
Skills: None
Weaknesses: Cruelty - King Joffrey is very cruel and is not loved by his people. His rash decisions and quick temper saw Ned Stark beheaded, and later his cruelty resulted in the mistreatment of Sansa Stark at the hands of the King's Guard under his orders. Joffrey's cruel nature means that people are slow to warm to him, and he has few true allies.
History: Joffrey was born of incest to Queen Cersei Lannister and her brother Jaime. However, the truth of his birth has been kept a secret and he was presented to the world as the son of King Robert Baratheon and heir to the Iron Throne. He grew up as a spoiled and indulgent child with a cruel streak within him. Robert never questioned the boy's parentage, but he was deeply disappointed with his 'son' and felt little affection for Joffrey. By contrast, Joffrey craved Robert's respect and approval, and many of his acts were done in an effort to live up to his 'father's' standards.
After taking the Throne as Robert's heir after the death of the King, Joffrey started his first court session by naming Tywin Lannister as the new Hand of the King, appointing his mother to small council and Jaime Lannister as lord commander of the Kingsguard, dismissing the legendary knight Barristan Selmy from his service, against all traditions. Sansa Stark knelt and begged for Joffrey to spare her father's life out of love for her, and finally he promises Sansa that he will be merciful. However, after Eddard Stark confessed his "crimes" and declared that Joffrey Baratheon was the true heir to the Iron Throne, he ordered the Lord of Winterfel beheaded. This rash act was against the wishes of the Lannisters, who wanted to minimise further bloodshed and restore the King's Peace.
Joffrey ruled with whim and caprice, proving difficult for even his mother to control. Sansa became imprisoned to his will, and he frequently had his guards beat her for his amusement. When he tried to have her stripped, his uncle Tyrion stopped him, and he never tried it again, although he was determined to eventually have Sansa in his bed whether he married her or not. His cruelty and the decreased quality of life at King's Landing due to food shortages and other hardships made him an unpopular king, and he was nearly killed in a riot sparked by his temper.
Stannis Baratheon led a fleet upon King's Landing, in what became known as the Battle of Blackwater. Joffrey insisted upon fighting, and toured the sea wall of the city, making idiotic suggestions about the defense of King's Landing. He gained a new sword for the battle, and named it Hearteater, and forced Sansa Stark to kiss it. He was outraged when Tyrion enacts a plan to defend the city without his permission, yet became pleased when the plan began to decimate Stannis' fleet. Frightened by the enemy army, he fled to the Red Keep for the duration of the battle. After Tywin saved the day while he was hidden in the Red Keep, he named Tywin Savior of the City. His confidence restored, he now rules from King's Landing as the King of The Seven Kingdoms.

Joffrey shifted on the throne, scowling. His crown tilted to a side as he moved, struggling to gain a relatively comfortable seat upon the throne. But, of course, that had been the point when Aegon the Conqueror had had it made. Old fool. The boy king shifted again, then rested his eyes upon the man in front of him, a wealthy merchantman of King's Landing. The man was dressed in silk robes and finery, and a worried look was plastered upon his face. Around him stood the ladies and lords of his court, along with the silent warriors of the Gold Cloaks. He could feel his mother's eyes upon him, glaring into him.
"What do you want?" He asked lazily, twirling a finger around one of the razor-sharp points of the swords that made up his throne. The merchant blinked rapidly, sweating. The man was nervous, very nervous. Joffrey had to stop himself from bursting into laughter. The man was like a frightened little rat. Hesitantly, the merchant spoke.
"My....ahm, Your Grace, it is my daughter. A young girl, sixteen years of age, a frail thing, really-"
"What of her?" barked Joff.
The merchant winced, as if Joffery had slapped him on the face.
"You see, she...she was here the other day, with some friends of hers, begging for food, outside. You...ah I mean, your guards, they arrested her, locked her in the dungeons for treason."
Joffrey shifted again, and allowed a wicked smirk to spread across his face, watching the merchant's eyes bulge in fear as he did so. He was having fun, toying with this fat fool.
"Your daughter and her 'friends' were speaking treason. They ridiculed me, their king." The merchant seemed to become even more nervous, if it was possible, tripping over his robes as he looked up at Joff.
"Your Grace, my daughter is but a child, she knew not what she did, she has lost her wits. Simply let me-"
"No." Said Joffrey, straightening on the throne. He leveled a finger at the man, his face a mask of rage.
"Take him away. To the dungeons. He is a traitor to the crown!"
The merchant burst into tears, blubbering and wailing, sobbing for mercy as two men wearing capes of Lannister red seized him and began to drag him away. Joff lowered his arm and motioned for the next person to come forward.
