Post by Deleted on Mar 12, 2013 22:00:32 GMT
Name: Robb Stark
Age: 22
Place of Birth: Riverrun
Current Place of Residence: Winterfell
House: Stark
Family: Eddard Stark (Father; Deceased), Catelyn Stark (Mother; Alive), Talisa Maegyr (Wife), Sansa Stark (Sister; Alive), Arya Stark (Sister; Alive), Brandon Stark (Brother; Alive), Rickon Stark (Brother; Alive), Jon Snow (Half-Brother; Alive), [Other Custom Siblings Open].
Appearance:
Garb:
Robb dresses in dark shaded leather tunics and garments when not on the field of combat. He does, however, keep a wolf pelt across his shoulders, a proud garb of honour in being associated with House Stark. He can often be found wearing a larger overcoat when outdoors to keep warm in the merciless weather of the North.
Height:
5’ 9’’
Weight:
180 lbs.
Personality:
Honour and justice are two words which power Robb’s judgement and morality. Undoubtedly the son of Eddard “Ned” Stark, Robb is a warm and friendly character to those of his family, even the bastard son of his father, Jon Snow. To others, however, Robb comes across as cold and heartless; a true sense of a man of the North.
Upholding the Stark House as an honourable and righteous one is what Robb strives to achieve. Still mourning and fuelled by the death of his father, he keeps in mind the limitations of his own men and himself, and also how distrustful the Houses of Westeros can be. He seeks for a ruler of the kingdom whom is both honourable and just, as his father was.
He loathes the current king, King Jeoffrey Baratheon, for the execution of his father, and is determined to know the truth behind his death, growing ever suspicious that the words of House Lannister were at use.

Weapons:
Robb wields a bastard sword, given to him by his father. Masterfully crafted, it is his weapon of choice and always has it on his person. The hilt is gripped with a rigid leather, and the hilt ends with the head of a wolf, a symbol associated with House Stark.
On a more unorthodox scale, many consider Robb’s dire-wolf, Grey Wind, to be a weapon in itself. The wolf has on several occasions killed armoured men, and is extremely loyal and obedient. Standing around 3’ 7’’ and weighing close to 180 lbs, Grey Wind has coarse grey and white hair and has powerful yellow eyes.
Armour:
Robb adorns himself in an ornate banded mail and scale armour colored in grey and white, resembling House Stark colours. The armour is reinforced with a treated leather underneath, coated in boiled oils and left to harden for extra padding and protection. Atop his head, Robb wears a custom crafted helm, shaped into the head of a wolf. The Visor sits inside the mouth of the helm, and he wears a black and grey wolf pelt with his armour signifying his ties to House Stark.
Strengths:
Survivalist: A man of the North, Robb understands the strains of the cold nights and relentless winds that the terrain brings. He adapts quickly to scenarios and is able to tough out the roughest of conditions. His father, Eddard, often brought his son out in the blistering snow storms to train in combat and movement.
Cunning Warrior: Being known by both friend and foe as “the Young Wolf” his ferocity is shown in his ability with a sword. Despite his age, Robb is a fierce warrior and shows a great resolve when on the battlefield. He knows when he is outmatched and does not waste time in attempting to prove himself something he is not. Though in itself, Rob ensures that such scenarios do not arise, and shows a cunning about how he conducts combat. His training with his father have made him a very apt fighter, though his lack of a knight’s training make him sub-par to the more known of fighters.
Tactician: Though young, Robb portrays a great knowledge and understanding of battlefield tactics. Having his youthful studies engrossed in famous tales of battles, as well as his father’s teachings and stories, Robb is an apt and intelligent commander, and it shows in his courageous and advantageous formation tactics and warfare techniques. Robb has indirectly inherited a willingness to command, and has an air of authority about him (when in the presence of banner-men and other noble houses) which directly stems from his father. His cold Northern persona stirs the thoughts of fellow men and brings about a natural sense of leadership.
Weaknesses:
Blinded By Honor
Robb has inherited not only his father's strengths, but his setbacks as well. Though many see his unflinching honor and loyalty as point of great admiration, it can be a severe handicap in a game as gruesome as the Game of Thrones. He will do what he deems is right in all cases, sometimes in favor of what is practical. Some may seek to take advantage of his rigid sense of character and duty, as they did his father.
Youthful Optimism
Though the Young Wolf is a brilliant tactitian and more hardened by the North than many other lords his age, it remains that he is green as summer grass. Still a capable lord and commander of men, Robb must be wary, lest he fall victim to the whims and fancies of youth.
Cold as the North
It will not be said that the King in the North is not a man of virtue, but few can claim to have chipped through his mask of ice and seen the man beneath. The the few who have seen the warmer side of Robb Stark are limited to his family and a few close family retainers (Septa Mordane, Maester Luwin, Rodrik Cassel etc). Robb, by necessity, has shed the boy he once was in order to fill his father's shoes. Robb is ready for the cold, and Winter is Coming.
History:
Born in Winterfell in the consummatation of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully's marriage, Robb spent the first few years with a father until he left and fought alongside other noblemen of worth in Robert’s Rebellion. Eddard returned to Winterfell after the war to live out his life with himself as Lord and Robb as his heir.
Growing up in Winterfell, Robb was on good terms with his younger siblings, and developed a friendly rivalry with his bastard half-brother, Jon Snow, who differs from Robb in appearance and personality. Robb was also close with his father's ward, Theon Greyjoy, who came to regard Robb as something of a younger brother.
Robb was trained by his father extensively in his youth and adolescence, being taught everything Eddard knew and loved. Robb grew to honour and respect the land which he was raised on, swearing to fight for the North if ever required. Though Ned nurtured the thought he had, he also strictly informed him not to rush head on into combat. Robb was not a knight, nor was he trained to be one, though he would have relished the opportunity.
Robb is present when Jon Snow discovered a litter of six dire-wolf pups in the snow, and along with his other siblings, he claimed one of the dire-wolves for his own and names him Grey Wind. When Eddard is named Hand of the King and journeyed south to King's Landing, Robb remained in Winterfell to rule in his father's stead with the help of his mother, but after she travelled to King's Landing, the responsibility fell solely on him.
When his father is taken capture for acts of treason, Robb sends raven to seek more information. Knowing his mother is safe, he waits to see how it unfolds. When Robb heard that his father has been executed for treason, he is named by banner-men as the King of the North. Robb now plans to march to King’s Landing for many reasons: to return with his sisters safely, to take any belongings of his now deceased father, and to act for honour and justice for the execution of his father, Lord Eddard Stark.
Remaining idle for a time at Riverrun, Robb sends Theon Greyjoy, who fought with him in the Whispering Wood, to Pyke with the goal of securing an alliance with his father, Lord Balon, against the Lannisters in exchange for recognition of the independence of the Iron Islands. He also sends his mother south to treat with the late King Robert's younger brothers Stannis and Renly, both of whom have crowned themselves king. Both envoys fail in their missions; Catelyn is unable to secure any meaningful treaty with either of the Baratheon brothers (witnessing Renly's assassination in the process), while Theon is rebuffed outright by Balon, who responds to the offer for peace with a large-scale invasion of the North.

Wasn't this supposed to be everything he ever wanted? His cold, blue eyes stared past the light snowfall as well as all the men in his service as he took in Winterfell one last time. This would maybe be the last time he would see the place in years. It was funny how he'd always thought of battling to defend his home from intruders. His father had always told him never to rush into battles and war. Yet, now he had to. Now, he was fighting for something entirely different than defending his home. Eddard Stark had taught him to value family as well. He taught him to defend his family's honor. He would do just that. His sisters were in danger and his father had been killed for treason. Eddard Stark would never commit such crimes and he would make sure every soul in the Seven Kingdoms knew it before he got his revenge on King Jeoffrey.
His dark hair whipped in the wind along with his black and grey wolf pelts. The wind beat against his face as he turned his gaze away from the only place he'd known as home for all his life. It was time to go out into the world and face his enemies head on. It was time to remind them that the North was a force to be reckoned with. He longed to be a knight for most of his life and yet he'd never gotten that title. Instead, the men of the North had given the Young Wolf something he'd never seen coming at all.
He was the King of the North.
His childhood dreams had come to life more than he had ever expected them to. Hell, he hadn't expected them to at all really. Anger and power welled in his heart as he was reminded how reality had dealt him his cards. He'd gotten what he'd always wanted, but at the cost of his family's honor. Honor that he would win back through force and blood. His gloved hands tightened around the saddle of his black horse as he leaped on to its back. His cold, blue eyes were focused straight ahead of him.
He was a boy no more.

Likes:
- The North - The land that he was raised on, Robb has a strong connection to the North, and to the men that call it home. Robb would fight for any reason or cause to protect the landscape that he calls home.
- His family - Robb may come across as a true Northern man - cold and unkind - but to his family he has nothing but love and affection to show. He often thinks that his mother is too harsh on his half-brother, Jon Snow, despite the fact that he knows it must be nothing but a reminder of her father’s infidelity. Given the times they are facing, he even considers having words with Jon Snow at the Wall.
- The truth - Given the deception that his mother spoke of at King’s Landing, Robb asks for nothing but the truth from whomever he talks to. He takes great note of his dire-wolfs reaction to people, judging the natural predatory instinct of whether the individual is to be trusted or not.
Dislikes:
- King Jeoffrey Baratheon - The voice that lead to the death of his father, Robb has nothing but disdain for the current king. Not only does he see him as unfit to rule as king, he still holds judgement against him for the way he treated his people at King’s Landing, believing the words of his sister Arya over the son of Robert Baratheon and Cercei Lannister.
- The Lannisters - In particular Cercei, Robb believes that the Queen had a definitive part to play in the death of her father. Though he is unaware that she was against the execution of her father, he will only believe this when/if told by Sansa, his sister.
- The politics of King’s Landing - Given the untimely death of Jon Arryn, and now of his father, Eddard Stark, Robb believes that there is something underlying in the hidden political strings of King’s Landing, and that those reporting to his father had something to do with his death.
